How to increase the performance of your computer

1. Insert the installation disk that comes with your printer into the CD-ROM drive on your computer. The computer should automatically detect the disk and open the installation window. If the installation window does not automatically open, double-click "My Computer" on the desktop and right-click the CD-ROM drive with the disk. Click "Play."
2. Click "I accept" after reading the terms and conditions, and select the location to install the printer drivers to.
3. The Installation wizard will ask you to connect the printer( it should be switched on ) and the computer.
4 . If you do not have the driver cd go to the website http://support.dell.com and click on drivers and download .Then select the option printers and the model no .Select the OS it is running on.
5. click on download at the driver file and save it .Unzip the file .
6. Click "Yes to all" when asked if you want to overwrite the folder. Click "OK" in the "All files were successfully unzipped" window. Follow the final prompts to install the printer driver.
7.Connect your Dell printer to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
8.The driver installation will take around 10-15 mins .Once the driver is installed the printer icon will appear on the printers and faxes option in the control panel .
9. Right click the driver icon and click on properties . click on print test page .

note :In AIO printers the AIO center will install once the driver has installed .So do not check the option print test page immediately after installing the driver.

Introduction

Hi, everyone this is the first blog on computers . I wasn't a tech savvy person not that i am really one now , but always wanted to learn about computers .The reason for this is simple we are illeterate if are oblivious to the usage of computers in our daily life . I bought a printer , dell AIO 966 thinking it would just work by connecting it and installing the drivers .Usually that is the way it should work but lady luck wasn't looking at me , it took me almost 2 days to find out what the issue was and to fix it .I had to go to different websites , blogs & forums to have a solution .So this blog that i have created is for helping people like me who wants to get on with their day to day life without the hassel of spending a long time figuring out what could have gone wrong with the computer.

so from today i will blogging simple steps how to keep your computer up and running all the time .
